Coleman Bros was established over fifty years ago, from a retail premises in Edmonton, North London selling wallcoverings and paint.

The business enjoyed good early success and quickly gained extra branches in Wood Green and Harringay.

Becoming a wallpaper wholesaler was a natural progression =, starting in North London and spreading around London and the home counties with their own fleet of vans as the business continued to grow.

In those days there were still lots of UK based wallpaper factories and importing as we know it today was unheard of.

The early 80’s saw the advent of easy distribution around the UK and Colemans became a national wholesaler servicing both independents and national retailers.

As the UK manufacturers amalgamated or closed. We began to import first from Germany and then Italy and France. A national sales team developed the business all over the UK for both stock trading and special order sales.

Today Colemans distributes from the remaining UK factories, CWV, Fine Decor and Graham & Brown and imports exclusive collections from leading Italian and German manufacturers, including Zambiati, Sirpi and Marburg.

Colemans also converts its own ranges for stock selling under the ‘Touch’ brand, including luxury colours, whites and feature wallpapers.

Lastly the ‘designer’ market is not forgotten, as last year we began serving the Rasch Textil brand which includes textile wallcoverings, vinyls and ‘paste the wall’ products incorporating Swarovski crystals.
